Photo shoot!

I know, it's been way too long since I have posted anything, and the reason is, I suck and I am super busy! I am going to school to become a Computer Engineer. I really can't wait to be done and be permanent somewhere! Meanwhile, we are in SLC, UT, trying to figure out life and what will be our next move. My apartment lease is up at the end of March and I'm really sick of apartment living, so we are thinking that we we might be moving back to Logan where we can actually afford life! The thought came to me last night. Why not move there? I have always wanted to move back, in fact, I never wanted to move out. Life in Logan is so much affordable than out here! I still need to receive confirmation from Heavenly Father but I really would like Logan for my kids to grown in. I don't care about making 5 figure amounts. A
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, we took the kids to get some pictures taken since we never have before. We took them to FotoFly in Draper, UT and it was a wonderful experience! I seriously didn't think we would be able to get very many good pics but we did! I am in love with this place, and I will be coming back! Did I mention it was $79?!? They gave me a cd with all the pictures that were taken...54 amazing pictures! I think that is an awesome deal! So I wanted to share some of them!

I am so pleased with these picture, I just want to print them all and put them all over the house! I love my little bundles of joy!!!

Trike fun...

I decided to start blogging about the little things because there aren't really a lot of big things going on. Today we took the kids to ride their trikes outside by the garages where there inst much traffic because it's a dead end. They always like to go out to the balcony with their trikes, but its too small and they end up using them as bumper cars instead of trikes! Afterward we went to the playground and Logan was sitting on his trike next to the bench where we were sitting when all of a sudden the sprinklers decided to start their shift. Logan was sitting about a foot away from them and got him soaked (I mean, they really got him good, full pressure)! I didn't want to take a picture of that cause it really scared him and I thought it would be cruel and maybe painful for him since he was so close to one of them.

I love how the little things make them so happy! Makes me want to be a kid again!

What excites me these days!

This is what I have been up to lately! This desk is probably older than the hills! Brady's aunt gave it to us about 4 years a go and it was pretty outdated, but we didn't have very much furniture so we took it! I have been de-junking my bedroom and I thought, "why not have a little makeover?" Yes, I have been watching HGTV way too much! So after lots of sanding, one coat of primer, two coats of semi-gloss black paint, a little distressing and new hardware, this is what it looks like! So if you have old furniture that you need to get rid of, give it to me, I'll take it!

TADA! I love it!

It looks way better in person!

Brady's b-day!

This year we havent been able to celebrate big because we dont know many people and we have no family here in Colorado. But I always like everyone to have a cake and have the food and present they want the most (even tough I didnt get a cake on my b-day, hint, hint, Brady!)
So I got Brady a cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory that they sell at sam's and it was soooooo good! He also got a 16gb zune mp3 player from Microsoft. Its a pretty cool little thing, and it stores lots and lots of music-he loves it! Brady turned 27 years old. He can't believe it but I think he is looking pretty good, hehehe! Hun, I hope you enjoyed yourself and your presents on your b-day. Thank you for all you do for us, I love you! Lynnie wanted to be in the picture too.

Looks to me like he really liked it!

Oh man, it's one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had!

Almost a 4th of a century old!

On November 4th, I turned 24 years old! I honestly could stay 24 the rest of my life! Its a great age! I never imagined being married and having two kids by age 24. I always thought I was going to college and I was getting married until I was 25. I remember that I promised my mom it would be that way. I think she felt pretty happy about it. Until at 19 years of age I got engaged and married to a guy from another country! Never say never, I say! I also remember thinking that I would never marry a U.S. American because I didn't want him to go to war. And here I am, married to a soldier. I think I have matured a lot, and I don't regret what I have. I love my hubby and my kids, and my life is kind of complicated but nobody said it would be easy.
The army has been relatively good to us, but I don't want to be in it the rest of my life. I want to raise my kids in a family friendly environment. I want to have a normal life, not a sedentary life.

OK, so going back to my birthday situation, it was a pretty good day. Two awesome sisters in my ward that care about me (Sister Hawker and Alicia(her daughter)) brought me presents! It so nice when people remember you on your birthday and show you that they care! Also another friend, Bridget, took me to get a pedicure! I love pedicures, I felt so pampered!

We also went to Olive Garden and had chicken fettuccine Alfredo! Ah, Olive Garden is the best, and just thinking about it is making me want some, yum!

For my birthday I got a Quickutz Silhouette SD, which is something like the cricut but the cool thing about the Silhouette is that you can use all the fonts that are already installed in your computer! I also got an awesome deal with in which I get 6 months of free downloads (I can go all crazy and download every shape there is, no limits!!) and 6 months half off! I really like this new toy! But don't get me wrong, I still love stamps!

I think I have a pretty awesome birthday and I just wish I could have had a big party with a bunch of friends and family, like we do in Mexico, well, maybe next year!

Another very nice think that I enjoyed were all the "Happy Birthdays" that I got on facebook, that was sweet! Thank you everyone for loving me and putting up with me. I know I can get pretty annoying, lol!

So now I am a year older and wiser, and I hope that makes 2010 a better year for me, I really have learned a lot these past 5 years and I think they have been the best years of my life!!

Halloween Party

This year for Halloween, we had our own little party. We ate delicious food and watched three movies (I think) Monsters vs. Aliens, Casper and a Lego Pirate Movie. My favorite part was the food. We didn't go to any major even because my kids seem to like to get sick on holidays. Lynnie was and angel and Logan was an skeleton. Hey, and I only spent $20 bucks in all for the outfits! Lynnie was so cute!

Logan is looking a little skinny!
He enjoys movies as much as his daddy and sister!
We had troll tongues!
Rooster's beak (the literal translation)
Mummy fingers!
and nasty ogre buggers!

We also had the spider web above (I stole that idea from Katelyn Mason) She was making bean soup with the spider web on top. When the beans where ready, we decided to make them re fried. Sorry, Katelyn, I hope you don't mind.

This was Lauralynn's favorite, that's all she ate! My handsome little skeleton!

Brady super loved the food!

Enjoying candy while watching movies(a year's worth, lol!)

Pumpkin fun!

Ok, I know I am going against the new tittle of my blog! A Halloween post in January, lol! But I just want to keep track of all the fun things my kids and I did when they were growing up. About a week before Halloween, Lynnie and I went to pick out a pumpkin from walmart. They were way too many pumpkins for how late it was in the month of Octuber. I felt bad because I knew a lot of them would go to waste.

I did learn one thing-you are better off buying a plastic pumpkin if you leave in an apartment complex where you can't put anything outside the door! We left ours in and it went moldy in like 4 days! I was sad because I wanted a atleast a pumpkin pie out it! We had fun carving this pumpkin and Lynnie loved it because it looked like Sully(sp) from Monsters Inc. I do not love Halloween but I do these things so my kids wont miss out on anything and its always fun to come up with activities to do together!

We picked this almost perfect pumpkin! It was almost completely round and beautiful! It was fun getting all messy and seing the final product! It was also hard to get the template on a round surface (the pumpkin) but it turned out much better than I thought! Well, now I can say that we did carve a pumpkin for Halloween of 2009!
She was so excited!
And even Logan had fun with this pumpkin!
My right wrist was soar by the time we were done!
We did a great job, right!

Logan's birthday

So, as you can tell, I haven't been posting on my blog very much. Not much excitement going on around here. We haven't gone on a cruise or bought a house, or anything like that. I have a hard time figuring out what to write about on my posts.
Yesterday was Logan's birthday. We couldn't have a birthday party because we are all sick. We didn't want to let it pass without having some kind of celebration!
We bought a cookies & cream pie and had pizza which he loves. We also watched a movie and opened a couple of presents. I honestly can't believe he was born 366 days a go! I have no babies at home anymore.
Logan is such a happy child! He smiles lots, all the time. He is always excited to see everybody! Labor was super easy with him, but after that, the story changed. He had acid reflux so he always wanted to be held and also had this really high pitch cry that drove me insane! To this day, nights are not so smooth with him, but I hope it changes soon!
We are so happy to have him in our lives and also are grateful for all he has taught us. He really is such a happy and joyful little guy!

Enjoying pizza!
After he was done with the pizza, we changed him into one of the two cute outfits that grandma got him! We got him those shoes and the trucks for his b-day!

Always putting a beautiful smile for the camera!

Lynnie wanted to take a pictures of her brother too but put her finger on the flash!
These two are pals!

Drinking his whole milk like a big boy!

Smiles, and more smiles!

Keep smiling!

He cried because we didn't let him touch the candle!
